Bridging the gap between what the job market is looking for and what young people possess is an important part of our work.

The Leadership, Empowerment, Achievement, and Development (LEAD) Camp was conceptualized by JA with a core mission: to nurture young girls into high-achieving women leaders, while advancing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 - Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women and Girls.
Over the course of five days, participants engage in a series of empowerment sessions led by accomplished women across diverse sectors and industries. These are complemented by self-development workshops covering a range of important topics, including career planning, an introduction to industries, digital literacy and cybersecurity, and personal health, deliberately aligned with the celebration of International Women's Day.
Innovation Camps are JA experiential education programs that encourage creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving among young learners. During this one-day, project-based, intensive learning experience, students engage in and apply entrepreneurial and collaborative 21st-century learning skills by solving community challenges. Students determined through an application process administered by JA work in groups with their classmates and participate in brainstorming, idea generation, and ice-breaking techniques and exercises.
Innovation Camps leverage design thinking to inspire and equip young people with the skills to solve real-world challenges. By promoting creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration, the camps provide a dynamic environment where innovation thrives. Participants are empowered to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and change-makers, driving both economic growth and social progress in their communities.
