We build financial confidence in young people, giving them the tools to navigate money and plan for a secure future.

Cha-Ching is a financial literacy program designed to equip 7- to 12-year-olds with the knowledge, tools, and practice they need to make informed financial decisions to reach their own personal goals and dreams as they grow into adults. Developed by Prudence Foundation, the storylines, music videos, comics, and curriculum focus on four key concepts of money: Earn, Save, Spend, and Donate.

Since 2016, JA Africa has delivered the Cha-Ching program to over 250,000 young people in primary schools across Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia

The Cha-Ching Curriculum targets primary school students and teaches financial literacy concepts around earning, saving, budgeting, and spending. They also learn about donating to make the world a better place for the less privileged. Six lesson plans, each 45 minutes in length, are designed to run either as stand-alone, sequential programs or independently as additional learning that can be integrated into any school program. The structure of each lesson includes learning activities based on the Cha-Ching lesson, a cartoon, and a board game.

Cha-Ching Money Show with Adanna and Emeka is JA Africa and Prudence Foundation's original TV series that reinforces the financial literacy concepts taught in the Cha-Ching videos through wraparound sessions with young teenage African hosts, Adanna Okoli and Emeka Nwogugu, that include games, activities, and interviews with special guests.
