Unlocking the Potential of Eswatini Youth Through Foodpreneurship

JA Programs continue to make a positive impact in Eswatini. More than 30 JA schools in Eswatini participated in JA Eswatini’s Premier Future Foodies Competition, a holiday camp that teaches young people about entrepreneurial opportunities in the Food business. Four students represented each school.  Through hands-on activities, the students were trained in discovering their target market, having a winning recipe, budgeting, shopping, selling, and presenting. The competition concluded with a cooking competition, food tasting and sales.

Manzini Nazarene High School emerged as Champions of the competition, taking home a cash prize of E15 000. Vulamasango Junior Achievement came in second place followed by position whilst Londunduma High School in third place.
