Passeport pour le Futur Program in Côte d’Ivoire Reaches Milestone: 5,000 Beneficiaries

JA Côte d’Ivoire, with the support of The Coca-Cola Foundation, has reached a significant milestone in its entrepreneurship education initiative for Ivorian youth through the Passeport pour le Futur program. To date, 5,000 out of the target 6,000 beneficiaries have been equipped with essential entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.

The Passeport pour le Futur program has garnered tremendous support from local ecosystem partners, including the Direction de l’Apprentissage et de l’Insertion Professionnelle (DAIP) through the Ministère de l’Enseignement Technique et de la Formation Professionnelle, and the Saint Marie Training Institute Group (IFSM Group).

In April, over 1,600 students from IFSM Marahoué and IFSM Camp Commando benefited from intensive training sessions. These students learned to use the Business Model Canvas to develop their business ideas, preparing them for the next steps in their entrepreneurial journeys.

These young learners will continue to hone their entrepreneurial skills through the JA Digital Entrepreneurship Education Program (JA DEEP). This self-paced online program is designed to teach young Africans how to start and operate a business. The collaboration aims to unleash the boundless potential of these aspiring entrepreneurs, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in the business world.

The program will culminate in the final phase of the boot camp, where they will participate in a national competition.. This exciting event promises to showcase the innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit of Côte d’Ivoire’s youth.
