JA Nigeria Hosts Children’s Finance Fair

In celebration of Children’s Day on May 27th , JA Nigeria hosted a Children’s Finance Fair in Lagos to teach parents and children about managing money. Too many of us look back on life and wish that we had started saving and investing when we were young. This fair helped teach parents to begin early in their children’s lives to instill in them the important building blocks of saving and investing and start them off in the right direction towards a secure financial future.

The Children’s Finance Fair took place from from 9.00am on Children’s Day, Saturday 27th May 2017 at Lagos Preparatory School.

This event brought together children under 17-years old as well as their parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers; all that have an interest in their education and financial security. Speaker and JA Nigeria Board Member, Nimi Akinkugbe talked discussed teaching children about money, children’s savings products,  identifying and developing talents, using real estate investments to fund education, mutual Funds, educational insurance,  trust funds and and lots more….

There was  a mini Monopoly Tournament hosted by Kid Entrepreneurs and Bestman Games for the kids.
