Eswatini’s Sboniso Madlopha Named Vice President of Operations at JA Africa

Junior Achievement (JA) Africa has announced the appointment of Madlopha Sboniso as the new Vice President of Operations. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade in senior management and executive leadership, Mr. Madlopha brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to his new role.

Having previously worked as the Executive Director of JA Eswatini, Mr. Madlopha is poised to make an immediate contribution to bolstering the operations of JA Africa and its 20-country Sub-Saharan network. At JA Eswatini, he spearheaded the delivery of impactful JA programs both in and out of school, as evidenced by the consistently outstanding performance of JA Eswatini students in regional competitions. After transitioning from JA Eswatini to the Eswatini Tourism Authority as the Head of Marketing, he continued to support JA Eswatini in a board advisory role. His strategic vision and extensive experience in stakeholder management and fundraising make him a valuable addition to the JA Africa team.

As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Madlopha will play a central role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the organization’s day-to-day operations and in strengthening the network of Member Nations to further their mission across the region. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, he will lead teams responsible for various administrative functions, driving collaboration and excellence throughout the organization. His leadership is expected to drive operational excellence and foster growth and sustainability within JA Africa.
